City engages Modern Geosciences to evaluate former Lakefront industrial facility.

Modern Geosciences was engaged by the city attorney’s office to assist in evaluating municipal property that was used by former operators for industrial operations. Though the lease agreement prevented industrial operations, USTs were installed, painting and fabrication activities were conducted at the Site and violations to both the Clean Water Act and US Army Corps of Engineers permit requirements were noted. Our efforts included Phase I ESA efforts, additional historical records research, and Phase II site investigation efforts to identify the impact from prior operations.
